I needed a helping hand

A fresh start for Rose and her family

I recently went through a divorce. I was a stay-at-home mom with 3 teenage boys and I became a single parent who had to work full-time. Our house was too big for me to handle and it was impossible for me to take care of the house physically and financially.

I put my house up For Sale By Owner in May 2005 and by July, with no offers, I got nervous. I tried running ads in the paper but housing prices were dropping and it wasn’t looking good. I was feeling scared and stressed. I just tried to make my bills and keep my children together. My savings were running out and it was only a matter of time before I would lose my house.

In March 2006 I decided to take a different approach so I met with a Realtor, Tom Bush, from Real Estate One. He told me of a program that Lombardo Homes was just starting called It Is Possible. He explained that it was a way to help me sell my home and get me into a new home. It sounded like a creative approach the market.

I listed with Real Estate One in Nov 2006 and I was reaching the end of my rope, but when I met with Lombardo and their team I felt hopeful and comforted. They were compassionate and understanding and that gave me so much strength. I knew they could help me and by February 2007 I had an offer on my home. They made it so easy because Real Estate One, Countrywide Lending and Lombardo Homes all worked together as a team to make this happen for me. I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have this help from Lombardo Homes. It’s been wonderful.
