Our children were growing older and moving out. We weren’t quite ready for retirement but we wanted something smaller that required less maintenance. We wanted the freedom to be able to come and go without worrying about yardwork and cleaning a big house. Dave was working long hours and didn’t have time to relax; there was always something that needed to be done. We spent our entire weekends cleaning.

We found the Cascades of Stoney Creek and we loved it. The location was perfect because it’s next to Stoney Creek Metro Park. We pictured ourselves riding bikes and getting outdoors a lot.

Even though we went from a larger home to a condo, I don’t feel like we gave up any space. Our master suite is so much larger than what we had at the other house and the walk-in closets provide great storage. We gained square footage right where we needed it and now that we are here, we love it! We have so much extra time to enjoy the outdoors and have fun together. Now we spend about 20 minutes cleaning and that’s it.

The people at Lombardo were great. They built us a quality home and were very attentive to our needs. It was a smooth transition to sell our old home and move into this one. This is beautiful and we are both very happy.
